Let’s talk about what you’re up to.
We love to work with creative, passionate individuals to help bring bright and bold ideas to life. The best way to get in touch is to shoot us an email at mail@landersmiller.com or, give a call at 215.901.2696.
Be sure to take a spin through some of our work, and our about page to understand what we believe in when it comes to working together. There are some projects that we cannot publish on our site due to existing arrangements, but can possibly share in a conversation if it relates to your project or area of focus. Here are a few other things you may be interested in knowing:

Every project is unique in its own way. We like to have discussions about budget up front. This is a mutually beneficial conversation. As potential partners, understanding an anticipated budget can help us frame the scope of the solution or reframe the approach. We’re always direct and upfront about the viability of budget to scope and try to find ways to help our clients achieve their goals while ensuring that the budget is healthy enough to keep us doing our best. There are times when an hourly approach is more suitable than a project approach and it’s something we can discuss and explore together.
Yes! We love the opportunity to bring a new idea to life, and seek projects whose purpose and foundation align to our own personal interests and values. As an independent studio, we’re intentional about taking on a limited number of these purpose-driven projects so we can give them the focus and care they deserve. We also approach budgeting differently for these engagements compared to commercial assignments, recognizing the unique constraints and opportunities they bring.
While we have visual styles we’re personally drawn to, our goal is not to simply impose our taste on a project. Instead, we focus on creating solutions that communicate effectively for you—tailored to your audience and grounded in your content. That’s why our work doesn’t follow a single, signature style (though you might spot the occasional pop of orange). Every project is shaped by what will serve the message best.
Yes, we will participate in an RFP submission process. However, we believe there are boundaries to a fair and professional design-led RFP process. We are happy to present how we work, and how our process may work for a new project and use past work case studies to demonstrate and support this process through a lens that speaks to your specific needs. But if an RFP includes the request for some ideas, or a little taste — that’s a different conversation.
If you need to see how we may start to solve a specific problem that is unique to your needs, we can discuss the option of a paid discovery phase where we can take time together to start to iron out some ideas based on foundations and more specific thinking— but this is the work, it requires both time and ideation.
Without a dedicated studio space, we don’t feel that a fully remote internship makes for the best learning experience for young designers. This doesn’t mean it isn’t worth reaching out to connect. We retain a network of amazingly talented industry friends and colleagues in various agencies, if we can make a connection we would be happy to. We are also glad to take some time to review portfolios or to talk about a career in design.
